Reflective day

Making days count 65

A reflective day as I attended the Celebration of Life of a special and dear gentleman who I will remember always. Although he was no relation of mine, I was deemed an "honorary family member" and joined with his family and friends to honour him with respect and love.

On the homefront, it was a pleasant day, with crocus flowers turning up their bright faces to cup the sun.

A volley of bushtits clung to the feeders...one little pensive soul sat alone on a branch.

Tomorrow is forecast to be sunny, with showers following during the week.

PS Can anyone help identify this seed that Dreamfalcon (Tree of the Year) found?

  4. Hi Mo ~ Thanks for catching up and your kind comments. The pie was delicious and the meringue added a soft touch to the already light tasting pie :) A mixture of sun and rain, but so much more springlike than the recent snow!

    Thanks Flighty :)

Hi Juliet ~ Thanks, and I hope you're right that it is indeed Spring at last!
