Making days count 69
Today the rains came, yet on my way home tonight the stars and moon were shining brightly :)
I had lunch out, and also met some friends later at a different venue, so not much in the way of photos today. No walking on the beach NOR in the woods.
It was a people day, and I was happy to catch up with everyone who I shared time with today.
People days are good to have :)
ReplyDeleteLove your Crocus, we only have yellow but this year I'm quite pleased since Flighty tells me that birds normally eat the yellow ones :)
Hope you and your son enjoy his birthday (I think mums should get a special mention on their children's birthdays) Mo
Thanks so much for the link to the cartoons! yes a great break in the mayhem!

Glad you had such a nice day Glo and the photo with the raindrops on the flowers is lovely.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend :)
Flowers can look so fresh with a scattering of rain drops.
ReplyDeleteThe Brant Geese of yesterday looked as though they enjoy riding the breaking waves.
Never mind you obviously still enjoyed your day! Flighty xx
ReplyDeleteHi Mo ~ Most of my crocuses are purple, with some white, and few yellow. Not only do birds eat the yellow ones, but so do squirrels. I have seen it with my own eyes, and was quite amazed. They must be tasty indeed.
ReplyDeleteI'll be heading down tomorrow for the birthday boy, and I agree, mum's should be celebrated as well~
Hi Mrs. N ~ You are more than welcome, and glad you enjoyed the chicken humour.
Thanks ShySongbird ~ I quite liked the little beaded crocus, so glad you did too. Hope you have a great weekend, too. Rain is forecast here!
Yes, John, the crocus looked quite pretty. Watching the Brant tossed about was humorous and they did seem to enjoy it!
Hi Flighty ~ Sometimes I enjoy nature so much, I forget that people are kind of interesting, too ;)
