Gullible and gulls...

Happy St. Patrick's Day :)

It's Thursday, and it was supposed to be sunny ... the forecast was awhile ago, but just the same it stayed with me ... until I looked outside...

Undeterred, the Dark-eyed Junco started the day off with a splash...

Not to be thwarted by inclement weather, I was off for a walk in a regional park!
Talk about blustery!

On the way back, a stop at an inlet presented a gazillion gulls gathered to feast on herring roe.

...and at about 6:00 p.m., the sun came out ~ a bit late in the day, literally!

  1. It may have been cold and blustery but you took some lovely pics. Here it mostly rained today, which was good as the potager was in need of a drop. Or two.

    Enjoy your weekend!

  2. Lovely photos and layout despite the bluster. I actually love when the sun comes out late in the day like that.. it makes everything so golden and dramatic before day's end.

  3. Hi Yolanda ~ Thanks :) I'm glad you needed the rain ~ and you're definitely welcome to more from here ;) Your potager is springing along very well! Thanks, and enjoy your weekend, too :)

Hi Hilary ~ Thanks Hilary. The previous night the sun offered a beautiful sunset, but last night once the sun came out, the dark clouds of night moved right in, and there was no golden anything! I agree the golden evenings can be beautiful.

  4. I do wonder what the gulls that I see on the nearby playing fields eat as it's a long way from the sea here!
It stayed cool and dull here nearly all day. Flighty xx
