A bit silly!

Making days count 66

A rather pleasant day with a few more clouds than I would have preferred ;)  However the little birds didn't seem to have a care as they were a-chirping all day.

Today was the first time I've noticed a trio of Golden-crowned Kinglets.

And this little Ruby-crowned Kinglet was fluttering under and around the feeder, until it settled for awhile. This little bird is right up there on top of my favorite list, and these photos show me why!

Edit to add: After seeing Midmarsh John's new bud growth, I remembered that one of my bud photos today came out with a blue sky background ~ Here is a cherry tree branch:

  1. Isn't it nice to see some blue sky for a change? The Kinglets look to be charming little visitors to have in your garden.

  2. You have such pretty little birds. I think my favourite bird visitor is the nuthatch, I think he looks like batman with the stripe over the eyes. We saw a greenfinch at the weekend too... haven't seen one in ages.
Love your decor in here Glo, it looks lovely. Hope your clouds move on soon! We've had sunshine but freezing temps!

  4. Yes, blue sky makes such a difference! Kinglets are very charming, and quite entertaining!

Hey Daffy ~ Good to see you! Yes, the nuthatch is an upside down bird for much of the time, too! The days are getting warmer, I think! Hope your weather warms up too! Thanks for the lovely comment re blog :)

Hi Flighty ~ Winter is having a hard time letting go with his icy fingers! Spring is trying very hard to warm him up! The birds continue to be entertaining :)
