I love Spring!

A big thank you to Hilary at Smitten Image for bringing notice to my Happy Easter from the Yellow-Rumped Warbler post as one of her posts of the week.

  2. Ah! I can post a comment! I meant to say how well I like the flicker's snazzy feathers -- very stylish. First signs are exciting aren't they? I'm glad you've celebrated with a lovely poem.

  3. Thanks Flighty! Glad you enjoyed the poem :)

Hi Nikki ~ Thanks for your email as well. The Flicker is indeed an attractive looking creature and very interesting to watch. He's much bigger than the little twittery ones, so easily noticed. Glad you like the poem.

  4. Great photos of the Northern Flicker, an unusual mixture of markings.
