Photos of a few bright colours in the nearby Garden Centre today.
I passed a field where a couple of farm friends were sharing the sunshine.
I drove down to see how Harzel was doing, and was again amazed at how he was literally 'flourishing'
I had a really close look at all the buds and leaves, and also noticed some very small tassels, which unfortunately were blurred when I downloaded the photos. I'll have to go back tomorrow and see if I can do better!
A lovely little Song Sparrow was serenading Harzel from atop the thicket, and I was happy that the bird was in clear view for the longest time.
A bald eagle flew overhead, as well as many seagulls. The link in the previous sentence has some great details about the bald eagle. As Flighty mentioned in the comments after looking at the webcam, They are wonderful looking birds but somewhat daunting seen close up!
When I got home, there were two Spotted Towhees in the front garden (see photos from yesterday). A very pleasant Spring day. The temperatures are still quite cool though, about 10 C, with lows 3C at night. As long as the sun shines, I don't mind!
I love Highland cattle, they are friendly beasts. A lovely photograph.
ReplyDeleteA lovely walk - thanks! Dx
ReplyDeleteI like the look of those blue and white flowers in the first photo.
ReplyDeleteHarzel is looking good, and it'll be interesting to see how the tassels develop.
It's been another warm, sunny day here! Flighty xx
Harzel's looking good! :)Mo
ReplyDeleteLovely as always, Glo. My heart soars when I see a bald eagle.
