  1. Glo, you have such a delicate touch with words. I can almost feel the petals floating down.

  3. Well if the falling petals have inspired such beautiful work as this then I would imagine that the once, fully bloomed flower has fulfilled its task.

  4. I love your poem and photos. Blossom always makes me think it's snowing in the sunshine; but instead of being cold and wet, it's warm and sweetly scented.
I planned to get photos of the tree outside my office - it's head full of the white stuff - but I forgot before the weekend - I came back and it had shed it's petal-ly load. c'est la vie.

  5. Nikki ~ Thank you kindly for the lovely comment ~ the petals are so fragile and I'm glad you felt my words paralleled their delicate touch. :)

    Flighty ~ Thanks, I'm glad :)

Daffy ~ What a lovely way to put it! Thank you :)

Hi WP ;) ~ That's exactly what the falling petals looked like ~ snow in the sunshine ~ hard to capture on film, although I tried. The breeze seemed to stop each time it saw the camera ;) Wonderful that you had a cherry tree in blossom that you enjoyed ~ before the shed!

  6. Glo, so good to write a poem about the beautiful details of nature. It made me think of standing under a trees or bushes with the petals raining down. Lovely.
