  1. A lovely fun poem, Glo. I hope it works! (because I'm so sorry you're still piled up with snow and hail and rain and thick cloudy clouds)

  2. Gosh, I knew Spring was indecisive, but she seems to have nearly abandoned you!

  3. Wonderful poem! I have my fingers crossed for you.
I really shouldn't mention that it's been lovely here all week!
    Enjoy the weekend! xx

  4. Hi Nikki! Glad you enjoyed the poem :) I was looking back at my entries from last March, and realized we had snow then too...including April 19. So I'm going to forget all about our weather, and enjoy reading about spring elsewhere ;)

Hi Liv ~ The birds haven't abandoned spring though, and seem to be making the best of it. It's encouraging to hear the bird song :)

Flighty ~ I'm pleased you liked the poem. Sometimes writing a letter helps, even if it's never sent. Please do mention your lovely weather ~ I delight in other people's fortune. I'm not the envious type at all and love to share joy! So happy to hear your weather has been 'ducky' ;)

  5. Taking nothing for granted in the northern climes of the UK but you seem to be getting the worst of it at the moment. The poem almost makes it worthwhile though!

  6. Hi NWG ~ I'm glad you enjoyed my poem :) I do like to see humour in things even if today was another windy rainy one, with only the odd bit of fleeting sun! I've just seen the weather forecast for the next 10 days ~ Sat. and Sun. look half decent ~ high of 9 C, however there's a trace of snow showing during the nights...and next week, back to work, walking of course, through light rain! The beginning of April holds promise :)...but then April can always fool you ;)

  7. Maybe the birdsong will lure her back?
