Flighty ~ I'm pleased you found the poem soothing ~ and good eye for spotting the snowflake ~ I was doing a bit of experimentation to see if I could incorporate some animation :)
Nikki~ Thank you for the great feedback :) Here's the description of a 'huitain' according Encyclopedia Britannica: French verse form consisting of an eight-line stanza with 8 or 10 syllables in each line. The form was written on three rhymes, one of which appeared four times. Typical rhyme schemes were ababbcbc and abbaacac. The huitain was popular in France in the 15th and early 16th centuries with such poets as François Villon and Clément Marot.
That's rather soothing, and I really like that falling flake in the background. xx
ReplyDeleteGlo, I love the rhythm in this piece - it's just delightful!
