This next group of photos shows some close-ups ~ notice the brilliance of the centre of the tulip. Also there is the teeniest bird nearly blended in with the bark of a tree ~ I think the bird might be a nuthatch. The view of the Olympic Mountains was taken from the lookout section of the park overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

These are wonderfully hypnotic! I see the second one includes some budding peonies which were one of my mums favourites. xx
ReplyDeleteWow, there is already so much blooming and waking and blue skies! I love all the new growth you've captured :-)
ReplyDeleteFlighty ~ Thanks for watching and commenting. The slideshows seem to add a shimmery quality, which looks effective on water features. Peonies are lovely...
ReplyDeleteNikki ~ Thanks :) There seems to be always something blooming there, I will remember to photograph the rose garden there later on in the year. At the moment, I'm waiting for the wallflowers to bloom...I have been known to get down on my knees and bury my face in them!
