ReplyDeleteI can smell that snow, by the way. In fact, despite my earlier comments I am sort of looking forward to the first snowfall, the silence that precedes it, and the extra cosiness you feel at home, with egg nog and hot tea and cookies.
Ahhh what anice hat! I bet his mum made him wear it before he came out even though the other birds would laugh! :o)

ReplyDeleteLiv ~ Birds are smart! They know that heat escapes through the head, so the bird in the hat in particular is setting a new trend, I think. Usually our snow comes and goes, but this one is accompanied by a cold stretch for about a couple of weeks at least. The snow is still here and is beautiful :) It is cosy indeed snuggled up by the fire at home ~ with the goodies you describe :)

Selba ~ you're right about thinking of this as a retirement choice. Many have the same idea ~ but we also have young families to balance things out. Glad you are enjoying my photos :)
Nikki ~ Thanks ;) There was another beautiful sight this morning on my way to work ~ the sunrise was striped with red, but I didn't think it was wise to fiddle with the camera while driving, although I was tempted. No place to pull over on the highway with all the snowbanks, so I just enjoyed looking at it. In the evening when the sky is clear, the sunsets and trees seem to illuminate ~ glad you enjoyed looking at the photos.
Another visual feast. Keep it coming Glo! That little birdie must be an early shopper.
