Thanks Flighty. There is a grouping of daffs, narcissus, and tulips on the grass verge near the beach promenade. I've been meaning to take a photo before while they are still in their prime, but I have usually been driving by. I parked the car and quickly hopped onto the road and snapped a photo with the beach in the background. The white magnolia tree is one planted in a downtown garden area and looked quite resplendent in the sunlight.
Glad you like them, Daffy. Yes, the whiteness was highlighted in the sunshine and is what caught my eye ~ a definite contrast!
I like these, especially the second one. The flowers in the first one are shown against a rather different background! xx
ReplyDeleteOh my! How pretty, The white looks astonishingly white! It makes me shade my eyes from the brightness.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely Glo.

I would like the white shrub in my garden! I am trying to introduce more white. It just looks so amazing in the evening light. x
ReplyDeleteHi Louise ~ I left a note on your blog with the name of this white shrub ~ it's a magnolia stellata ~ I saw one for sale today but it was $70 ~
