Silly Seals!

  1. Gr8 vid Glo, don't think I've ever seen so many seals together all singing a jaunty little ditty. BTW Your sign posts cracked me up. Re the jelly fish: I once was on a boat from Germany to Denmark when I noticed that we were surrounded by millions of jellyfish. It was a spectacular sight as they were multi coloured.

  2. They sure are noisy so-and-so's! I wonder what they're saying to one another!
Thanks for a lovely smiley video! Flighty xx

  3. Thanks Yolanda ~ Noisy bunch for sure! Many are basking, however if one tries to get out of the water anywhere near another, there's a lot of disgruntlement and snapping as is evident near the end of the video. Quite fascinating to watch, especially being so close. They come to the same place during the herring season, too. Your jellyfish experience must have been an amazing and beautiful sight, especially seeing such an immense number of them!

Hi Flighty ~ Noisy is right! I think they were practicing Christmas Carols ... I'm sure I heard the bark of 'Jingle Bells' at the beginning. ;) Glad you enjoyed the video...

It does make one wonder what they are communicating to each other.

  4. PS Yolanda, glad you got a kick out of my sign posts. I was looking for an arrow to point to where I was standing, and then I decided to have a little fun in Photoshop ;)

  5. What a crackup! At the start, it sure seemed like a few of the seals were pontificating to a slumbering audience. I was amazed at how much dexterity they have in the tail flippers -- that one you videoed scratching his neck. And I appreciated the graceful intermission of floating jellyfish :-)

  6. Hi Nikki ~ Haha, aren't they a hoot? I stayed there for quite a while watching their antics and listening to their various expletives. Very entertaining, I must say! Glad you liked the quiet interlude as well ;)
