On the eleventh day of December

No snow, and slightly milder ~ in other words, above freezing :)

No outside photos taken today either, so here's a little Christmas star bird hanging out in the living room.

I may head off to Victoria tomorrow for the day ~

  2. I have been telling my husband all about your humming birds as he is a keen bird watcher. He didn't believe me that they stay with you all winter - he got all his books out convinced I was wrong - I even showed him your blog as proof - even then he wasn't convinced - men huh!

    1. Hi Elaine ~ it is hard to believe that the little hummingbirds live here all year, and I can understand why your husband is skeptical, but it is a fact! I'm sure the little guys are happier that the temp has warmed up to about 5C ~ I noticed a few fluttering around the feeder today, before I left for the day.

    1. Yes, Snowbird ~ it is a little white bird with feathers ~ I added it as a feathery touch ~ and call it the star bird :) It could be a snow bird, too ;)

    1. A bit of a time consuming job, but fun! I always have great intentions, but Christmas arrives before I know it! Good luck with getting them done :)
