Rain, rain and more rain...at last. But it feels like the middle of winter, already!
I did not leave the house today. Instead I relied on Adrian's recent post regarding Speech Recognition to keep entertained. Well, one thing led to another. At first I was just talking gibberish, at least that what it looked like on the page. I decided to tell a story, and before long a turtle and a squirrel became acquainted.
Once I had finished the first part of the tale, I thought I was done. However, I began looking for various Photoshop brushes online. That led me into copying the story onto a virtual notebook, and making a map, and a postcard....and on and on it went ... into the next morning.
What fun! Thanks Adrian!
It's still raining.
You found an entertaining way of passing a dull day Glo.
ReplyDeleteYes, thanks John. It was a great outlet for my creativity, and good fun on a rainy day :)
DeleteExcellent.....I wouldn't have had the patience rain or no rain.
ReplyDeleteThanks Adrian. It seems you have a lot of patience for other creative endeavours, though, so it all depends on what flips our switch ;)
DeleteIt sure looks like you've been having fun. I like the 'Turtle mail slightly faster than snail' on the postcard. Flighty xx
ReplyDeleteHi Flighty ~ glad you caught the Turtle mail stamp I made. I enjoy thinking things up like that and ... one thing leads to another.
DeleteUggg. That's a lot of rain. No sharks, yet, though?
ReplyDeleteYour story style reminds me of the Wind in the Willows.
Hi Nikki ~ Surprisingly no sharks! However the rain is back today, so I better walk warily ;)
DeleteWind in the Willows is a classic, so thanks for the kind words!
