Thanks so much, Flighty ~ I'm glad you enjoyed the sunset, poetry and music. There is something special about sunsets such as these, allowing for reflection in all aspects :)
Thanks John. The sun is setting about 7:30 p.m. (actually 7:21 tonight, I just checked) ~ so early, and the first indication I usually get of a beautiful sunset is the pinkish clouds I see above the trees at home. Then it's a beeline down to the beach! Sometimes I just can't believe the beauty of the reflections ~ the sky and water ~ it's beyond words.
That light is gorgeous, Glo. And I bet it was even more beautiful in person. The camera does capture a good bit of the subtle shadings in the quality of light, but our eyes see so much more.
Thanks for sharing the sunset, Nikki, and for your comment re the lighting. Recently we have had rain, so nothing as spectacular. During out hot dry August the grass dried out totally ~ however, it is now very green thanks to the recent rain.
That was absolutely beautiful, Glo!! What wonderful sunsets and how lucky you are to have such beauty on your doorstep! I also loved the music you chose to accompany your lovely words and images...perfect :)
Sad though that another Summer is all too quickly fading into a distant memory, ours has been very short too.
Thank you ShySongbird :) I'm pleased you enjoyed the pictures, music and poetry. Yes, I am fortunate to live in a lovely part of the world and get to chance be close to the sea and fresh air. Summer left in haste as Autumn swept in with cool and damp air! She's blustering away today, as a matter of fact! Thanks for coming by :)
What a wonderful combination of images, music and words! Flighty xx

ReplyDeleteLovely video - you get such beautiful sunsets. The water helps with the added reflections.
