Nikki, you're right. It has seemed like a short summer. It was cold and rainy, then hot and dry, and now autumn-like! I tried to show some of the recent photos to give some idea of what I've seen and sensed, so thanks for your nice comments. I've been busy gallivanting lately, so haven't had much time to blog. I have done some canning of pears, but more to do this weekend as well.
