Another view or two

After choosing photos for the previous post, I had a look through to see if there were other photos I'd like to put together.

Here are a couple of collages ~ the first contains various sights from in and around my home, including a Chicken Pie I made due to the cooler than usual temperatures!

The second is a collection of photos I took at a local marina, which I thought looked rather fitting for the red, white and blue celebrations!

The sun is expected back next week, around June 10...

  2. Next week? I hope it'll stay around :-) Fun way to show off the scenes around you. Love that glow on the moon and all the pretty flowers.

    1. Yes, Nikki, next week! It's been very cool and wet, not like June at all. Glad you liked my collages. I take so many photos, so it was a way of coralling a few that would otherwise be left behind. Have fun in Louisiana!

  4. Lovely collages Glo! The flowers are so colourful and the chicken pie looks very tasty :-) I have had a request for Coronation Chicken for this evening's meal. I have never made it before but it has been mentioned so many times on the TV during the Jubilee celebrations. I never follow recipes to the letter so it will be my own adaptation, whether it will be any good remains to be seen!

I also enjoyed the May Scaveneger Hunt. My favourite was the Hummingbird :-), the illuminated Tulips were lovely too and of course the adorable Mallard with her ducklings, talking of which, I enjoyed catching up with the videos and was so glad to find all the ducklings managed to get back to mum :-)

    1. Hi ShySongbird ~ So nice to read your lovely comment and to know you've caught up with my recent posts. I have come across the term 'Coronation Chicken' on a few posts, but didn't realize it was a recipe, which I shall have to look up! I'm sure your adaptations will make it extra special.

The monthly Scavenger Hunts are fun to do, and give me food for thought as I scan my surroundings :) I was especially thrilled to find 9 ducklings ~ and I'm pleased to know you watched the video too. They'll be much bigger now and will no doubt have taken over the whole pond!

  5. That looks like a popular and well cared for marina.
Lovely flowers and sunset. The chicken pie is making my mouth water.

    1. As you can imagine, there are a fair number of marinas around here ~ since we're on an island :) and they are kept in good shape. Glad you liked the photos. I think it's time for another chicken pie as the weather is atrocious!
