A brilliant photo story, did you write it yourself? I love the picture of quigley standing up in number 10.. he looks like he is plotting some mischief!
Hi Louise, thanks ~ yes, I wrote it last night. That picture of Quigley standing up holding on to the twigs really makes me laugh. It was such a funny stance, and I was delighted to find it when I downloaded my photos.
Fantastic shots of your newest visitor! He looks silvery -- 10 pounds? You may have to reinforce that limb. And, as always, a delight to read your rhymes, Glo.
Thanks Nikki :) Well, at first I was going to put 5 pounds, but that didn't seem quite enough. It's amazing any of the branches are still attached with the strengths of the winds we've had lately...probably blew poor ol' Quigley into the next dimension! Glad you liked the rhymes too.
I'm actually not blogging for a while, but sat with my coffee for a few quick morning reads...so glad I stopped here. Love this...and Quigley looks a little like a Suma wrestler in that last one. Thanks for the entertainment this morning. Now I'm back to Blog Oblivion for a while (company's comin'!!).
Wonderful post, with really delightful pictures and verse. My resident squirrel out front at home has a tail like a loo brush which looks rather comical. Flighty xx
Clap.. clap.. clap. That's applause.. not my attempt to send Quigley away. Very well done. You're so creative and full of fun. I love the teapot in the previous post too.. so clearly visible. :)
Thanks for your comment.

ReplyDeleteWhat a good shot, he looks like a cartoon character standing there in his baggy trousers!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, indeed he does look like a cartoon character with his voluminous pants... and cute expression.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you came to meet Quigley, too! Fortunately for him, there are a couple of tall evergreens that he can scamper up whenever he's spooked!
