Morning: I was surprised one morning to see fresh snow on the mountains, and on nearby roofs...and my vehicle:
Here is a photo taken recently showing the amount of snow that has accumulated ~
Buttons: I do not have a photo of actual buttons, but how about a photo of two children playing at the beach, each of them "cute as a button". Although it was sunny, there was a brisk wind which didn't seem to interfere with their play.
Square: On March 9, I travelled to Victoria and kept my eye open for photos to fill certain categories.
Kitchen: Not a very inspiring or creative photo, but it fits!
Theatre: This photo was taken on a drive north on the island.
Street Name: How about this one?
Fancy: I took this photo today of the rather fancy carved door on the left, with a massive dog who arose from napping on the grass to greet a walker and her dog.

Landmark: While visiting Victoria, I took a few shots of the city and area below from a high vantage point, Gonzales Observatory. and another link.
If you can see the green domed roof (left), you have found the Parliament Buildings, and to the right of that, the famous Empress Hotel. Rather hard to make out from such a distance.
Fashion: What can be more of a fashion statement than a peacock showing its vibrant colours near a huge tree in Beacon Hill Park.
The first peacock in Beacon Hill Park was purchased in 1891. Though pheasant and swan numbers remained high during the following years, there were few peacocks, and in some years, none. In 2003, however, the situation is reversed. There are no swans or pheasants in the Park, but an estimated 35 Blue Indian Peafowl live free. This number is down from a possible 75 peafowl in 1985. (Friends of Beacon Hill Park Society Newsletter, July 2001.) This quote is from a link on the history of a zoo that used to exist at the park.
Words: The words on this sign caught my eye; a reflection in the window emphasizes the reflective concept.

March, with its variable weather, did lend itself to rainbows :)
I'll leave you with a little visitor perched on my doorstep. I think it's a purple finch, and it is possible that it was helping itself to some fuzz from the mat...nesting material?
