Poppies and a wild rose!

Just a few photos of the gorgeous poppies that have flourished in this great weather. Although I don't have any in my garden, there are plenty around the area.

  1. Oooh, you've caught these beautifully, Glo. Like there's a cupful of sunshine in each one.

  4. Beautiful and colourful images Glo, Poppies always look so cheerful.

The Bald Eagles on the previous post really are majestic birds and look so right in that stunning setting, great video!

I also enjoyed the scavenger post, it always amazes me how you manage to find something for all the categories. My absolute favourite was the black and white beastie, what a face!! I have looked at it several times, love it :)

  5. I like the first picture! I'm pleased that I've got poppies on the plot this year.
Simple wild roses make a welcome change to the more usual garden varieties. Flighty xx

  7. Thanks Nikki ~ a cupful of sunshine sounds lovely :)

Thanks Adrian ~ the poppies just seemed to appear all at once!

Thanks Mo ~ the poppies were in front of a fence in front of a bird sanctuary and were such a lovely splash of colour. I bet yours look pretty!

Thanks ShySongbird :) Pleased you enjoyed the poppies, and the eagle post with photos and video.

I often have more than one for the Scavenger Hunt selections, but some are harder to find than others. The Highland cattle are located in a field not far from here..there are two of them and a white horse in the field. Glad the B&W photos was a favorite :)

Thanks Flighty ~ Most of the poppies I see are in people's gardens, so I was pleased to find a patch with a
    mountain in the background.

Thanks nicsnotebook ~ glad to know you enjoyed my photos.
