It's not that I have nothing to post about - too much, actually. The weather has been glorious, therefore I have been outside and taking lots of photos. I can't keep up now that I've taken a break. However, I'll start with today...
I decided to take a drive to a fairly secluded rocky beach. The tide was out far enough for a strip of green covered rocks which enticed a barrage of bald eagles. I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful antics of these majestic birds, and breathing in the fresh sea air.
Here's a movie with photos, followed by a slideshow.
Pretty cool movie of the Eagles - must have been wonderful to watch them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to spend the day! Beautiful birds :) Mo
ReplyDeleteSuperb birds I love the presentation. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that you've had some good weather. That together with eagles and the sea makes a terrific combination! Flighty xx
ReplyDeleteLoving those blue blue skies, Glo. A great backdrop for your eagle photos.
ReplyDeleteDreamfalcon ~ I was surprised and thrilled to see and hear so many eagles at once. Glad you liked the movie :)
ReplyDeleteMo ~ It was wonderful. I found a smooth boulder and sat there for quite awhile just taking it all in.

Oh they're such a treat, aren't they? There are baldies up at the cottage.. they've nested there for a few years now. I'm so looking forward to seeing them again. Wonderful images, footage and slideshow.
ReplyDeleteThanks Hilary :) Indeed they are wonderful birds and look forward to seeing photos of them when you head to the cottage. Glad you enjoyed the movie and slideshow.
ReplyDeleteMust be great to be able to watch such magnificent birds though I will say I wouldn't like one popping over to the Birdy Bistro.
