    Video looks brilliant full screen. Fascinating seeing Woody's red head feathers go up and down while he works out which letter to peck at next.

      Hi John ~ and thank you. I noticed his head feathers moving as well ~ not something I would have noticed if it wasn't on video! I like the idea that the red hair movement coincides with his thought processes re letter pecking ;)

    Clever, cute, creative you! I love how the pileated woodpecker's head feathers stand up when it hears the insects.. like at 23 second and 1 minute into the video. Very well captured. And fun stuff. Happy V Day to you, Glo.

      Thanks Snowbird ~ always fun to share my creative efforts with an appreciative audience :) Yes, Woody has definitely left an impression or two on that tree. Fun to watch the bird in action right in the front garden. Quigley is one of my favorites.
