A Rowdy Raft of Sea Lions

Yesterday I was amazed to see the vast number of sea lions in the bay, barking and basking, enjoying the sunshine, and, of course, verbalizing their thoughts (check out the video at the end of this post)!

A meandering merganser skedaddles through the cacophony, dodging fins and flippers ...

  4. Oh my goodness. I'm SPEECHLESS!!! What an absolute treat this was for me.How jolly and relaxed they all look, and those flippers and fins....."A meandering merganser skedaddles through the cacophony, dodging fins and flippers ..." how beautifully this sums it up. I do LOVE those whiskers, they look so defined and razor sharp!

You are SO lucky to live in such an amazing place with such incredible wildlife.

Y'know Glo, I'd pay to read this....and I really think you ought to share more....twice a day would do nicely for me!!!Yes!

  5. Wow - what a sight - is that raft they are all on specifically for the seals. What a wonderful noise they are all making - it was nearly as good as being there - well, not quite!

    1. Hi Elaine ~ your question about the raft had me phoning the harbour authority to find out more, which I have posted about! Hope you enjoy the recent video as well...another noisy one.
