Thank goodness there was some good weather during that time. When I look at the tree again, I can definitely see the resemblance to a teapot ;)Glohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09532995590131801962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416483978289413011.post-66066851164241225392009-03-16T14:20:00.000-07:002009-03-16T14:20:00.000-07:00How amazing to have eagles and sealions on your do...How amazing to have eagles and sealions on your doorstep. The sea lions were very noisy ~ especially the males, which have a low growly sound. Yesterday turned out to be beautiful weather, just like a spring day. The temps went up to 12 which was a pleasant surprise. I was outside most of the day.

Hi Liv ~ Seeing all the sea lions lumped together like that was hilarious ~ could hardly tell where one started and the other ended ~ and noisy is right. They were fun to watch, especially so close. I bet they were having a chuckle or two ~ and once in awhile a couple of them would turn and fight and bite! There are many more eagles visible right now with it being herring season. Sounds like a lovely area you plan on visiting ~ and know that your photos and write up of your explorations will be wonderful to see :)

Hi Selby ~ Glad to see you enjoyed the photos, especially the sea lions. They were enjoying the sunshine after having their fill of herring.

Hi Daffy ~ Glad to hear I helped get your morning off to a gentle start ~ I thought of you when I saw the tree trunk that looked like a relation of an elephant!Glohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09532995590131801962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416483978289413011.post-51876896462491637412009-03-13T02:11:00.000-07:002009-03-13T02:11:00.000-07:00What a wonderful serene way to start my Friday mor...What a wonderful serene way to start my Friday morning!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416483978289413011.post-71233632886336498802009-03-12T21:44:00.000-07:002009-03-12T21:44:00.000-07:00As usual... Or maybe that is what they are doing...

You're lucky to be able to see so many eagles.

Hopefully soon I will be able to explore the countryside around Shenandoah in Va. and the Chesapeake Bay in Md., a lovely area overall.Oliviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04014351759393921274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416483978289413011.post-56965529333447665802009-03-12T12:06:00.000-07:002009-03-12T12:06:00.000-07:00I'd be happy to see just one eagle! Those seals sur...I'd be happy to see just one eagle!
Those seals sure are a noisy bunch aren't they!
It's still rather wintry there I see, which isn't quite so bad when it's bright and sunny. xxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
